color format converter

Supports 3, 4, 6, and 8-bit HEX, as well as comma or space syntax for RGB(A) and HSL(A).
Instructions for use
Enter a HEX, RGB(A) or HSL(A) color and convert. The result will be unified output of HEX, RGB and HSL, and the relative brightness and contrast with black and white text will be calculated at the same time; the contrast of transparent color is the reference value of the color channel itself, and the actual display will also be affected by the background.

RGB channels can use 0–255 or percentages, HSL saturation and brightness must use percentages, and transparency can use 0–1 or percentages. Contrast can be used to quickly select black or white text, but formal accessibility acceptance should still be combined with actual background and font size checks.
